Bridging for Sustainability

April 30 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The GPSEN “Bridging for Sustainability” event series is framed through the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and designed to engage and bridge between sustainability stakeholders for a collective shift towards a sustainable future in the greater Portland region.

Stakeholders from policy, research, education, business, and the community are invited to join us online on April 30th, to discuss SDG 14 “Life Below Water” and SDG 15 “Life on Land” and reflect on the relevance of water systems to life on land, for “business as usual”, and in times of crisis such as the current COVID-19 pandemic. Our speakers for the day are Cassie Cohen and Ibrahim Mubarak from Portland Harbor Community Coalition, Kevin Thomas, from PSU, and Ryan Rittenhouse, from Friends of the Columbia Gorge.
