Frank Granshaw, Director of Learning
A retired geoscience instructor from Portland Community College, Frank is now part-time geology faculty at Portland State University, a board member and research fellow with GPSEN, a faculty fellow with PSU’s Institute for Sustainable Solutions, a participant in University Corporation for Atmospheric Research’s Climate Voices program, and a member of the Union of Concerned Scientists Science Network.
With an emphasis on climate and sustainability education, he is active speaking to service clubs and faith communities in addition to teaching climate science courses at PSU. A key project related to this work is a library of virtual “walkabouts” showcasing examples of sustainable development and habitat restoration within the GPSEN sphere of influence. < http://vfeprojects.research.pdx.edu/DWS >
